Spent a gorgeous afternoon at Hermann Park with the lovely Bombulie family. Little miss Lucy loved watching all the ducks and enjoyed her first experience in a swing! I love the lighting in these photos and was really impressed by Houston's beautiful (and rare) fall colors.
Preston and I spent a sunny November morning having fun with the Heinisch family. Their cute little brown-eyed boy loved watching all the squirrels, turtles, and butterflies at the Mercer Arboretum. We could not have asked for a sweeter family to take photos for - hope you enjoy them :)

Five years ago I did not even know Preston's name and in no time his sweet family adopted me as their very own.
We were all so thankful to have Karen and Jordan in town all the way from Brooklyn, it is an understatement to say that we've missed seeing them.
It is in these evenings spent outside with loved ones that I am reminded how much God must love His children, in fact sometimes I think the wildflowers were made just for me as a reminder. God's presence is constantly made known through His creation and through these people. I love having a mother-in-love that always seems to know when I need a hug, a father-in-love who stands up for what is right, another little brother who reminds me to live by faith, and a husband who cherishes and encourages me every single day. How wonderful to be part of a family unafraid to play guitar & sing at the top of their lungs, tromp through grassy fields, and be silly in the sunsets.

Preston and I really enjoyed this beautiful October evening taking photos and catching up with the Miller family. Henry is the cutest little guy with big serious brown eyes, but a smile that could melt anybody! Jennifer has a fantastic blog called Miller Musings where she has posted a ton of delicious recipes and decorating ideas, I always love reading her "ramblings" as she calls them!

This is the sweetest family. Matt and Kate helped Preston and me with our wedding two years ago and they now have two beautiful blue-eyed kiddos! Kate is a very talented photographer in Texarkana, Texas and Preston and I felt so honored when they asked us to snap a few photos of their precious family this past weekend. Enjoy:)
